At I.S. 217 we offer dance classes to all our students. Dance teaches students about music, rhythm, and beat. Students also have a better understanding of spatial awareness and learn to think with both sides of their brain. Our dance curriculum explores multiple forms of dance allowing students to connect with various cultures and backgrounds.  

At I.S. 217 we offer Choir classes for all students. Singing in choir will build thinking skills such as concentration, memory and listening. You will be able to express yourself in a creative way.

At I.S. 217 We offer art classes. By taking art classes, all our students get a chance to stimulate their imaginations, as well as their cognitive and problem-solving skills.
